These terms apply when you buy from boabbottle.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
The store is operated by Boab Bottle, ("Boab", "we", "us").
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send your dispatch confirmation, not when you check out. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if the item is out of stock, if there's a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we refund you in full.
Pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Shipping within Australia is free.
Launch pricing and any "was" price shown reflect our own intended ongoing retail price for the product. Promotional prices apply while the promotion runs and may end or change without notice. If a genuine pricing error occurs, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Your consumer rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. Our returns policy is in addition to them.
Using the product
The Boab Bottle uses UV-C light to reduce microorganisms in water and on the inside of the bottle. It is not a filter. It does not remove chemicals, heavy metals, sediment or microplastics, and it does not make water safe that is contaminated with those things. It also cannot protect you from anything you eat.
Follow the instructions supplied with the product. Do not look directly at the UV-C LED, do not attempt to defeat the safety interlock, and do not disassemble the cap.
Anything we say about health outcomes is general information, not medical advice. If you have specific health concerns about travel, speak to a doctor or travel clinic.

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees above, our liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to replacing the product or refunding what you paid for it.
